Morgan’s Message® Education Program Liaison

Alexandra (Alex) Heishman is a Campus Liaison for Morgan’s Message. Alex grew up in Herndon, Virginia and graduated from South Lakes High School. Alex played lacrosse all her life and knew Morgan through mutual teammates. Alex continued to play at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio where she majored in Psychology with a concentration in Child & Family Studies at JCU and minored in Spanish and Peace, Justice and Human Rights. She joined the Morgan’s Message Ambassador Program in 2021 and founded the Morgan’s Message chapter at JCU.

In May 2024, Alex received her MSW from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with a Trauma-Informed Care certificate. After graduation, she completed her licensure and is now a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with plans to work in child & adolescent mental health in Cleveland, Ohio. Ever since she became involved with Morgan’s Message, she has been a huge advocate for mental health and being a part of Morgan’s Message truly changed her life.
