Morgan was more than an outstanding athlete. She was a daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, cousin, passionate friend, animal-lover and … artist!
Morgan’s art is all free-hand. The style is called Mandala, which means “circle” in Sanskrit. Drawing mandalas as a form of art therapy can reduce anxiety, tension and overall stress. Take a visual stroll through Morgan’s world and read how a few practicing artists interpret her blossoming work.

“Looking at Morgan's work, I am reminded of the power of creativity. Creativity when we find the flow, much like sports when we get in the zone, has the power to relax, recover and recharge us every day.”
-Ron Johnson, Co-founder The Abstract Athlete; Assistant professor, Virginia Commonwealth University, Creative Practices
“I feel her energy in the work, the attention she puts in each piece, the incredible attention. Every work moves in slow motion as my eye meanders around the surface. Morgan's works are more than just beautiful, they create a meditation, they show exactly what she was doing.”
-Ron Johnson
“Morgan showed great promise in having a career in a creative field, such as graphic design, illustration, fine art, animation… there’s so many avenues to take with art, who knows where that may have led…”
-Kathie Jankauskas, Owner, KJanStudio LLC, Yardley, PA

“Her body of work evokes the viewer into a trance, which is a state of mind she was likely in while creating. Because of this, the viewer is forever connected to her.”
