Antonella Henson-Vendrell
Morgan’s Message® Education Program Liaison
Antonella Henson-Vendrell grew up in Haymarket, Virginia, and her younger sisters were briefly coached by Morgan with Cardinal lacrosse. She graduated from Paul VI Catholic High School where she played lacrosse, volleyball, and ran track & field. She was an inaugural member of Puerto Rico’s U19 and Senior National Women’s Lacrosse teams and played in the World Lacrosse Women’s Championships in 2019 and 2022.
Antonella continued to play lacrosse at Monmouth University on their D1 women's lacrosse team. She founded the Morgan's Message chapter at MU after battling her own ACL injury during her junior and senior years. She studied biology, on the premed track, and graduated in 2022. She will now be attending the Wake Forest School of Medicine and pursuing a career as a Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon.
Antonella is passionate about destigmatizing mental health within the student-athlete community, as well as in the medical community.
