Morgan’s Dad

Kurt Rodgers is the President and CEO of S.W. Rodgers Co., Inc., a Heavy Highway Civil Contracting firm operating throughout the state of Virginia; a position he has held since 1998. He concurrently served on the Board of Directors of a publicly traded bank for over 15 years on its Executive, Audit, and Compensation Committees. His business experience also includes serving as one of the Founding Principals for a captive insurance company providing liability coverage for commercial businesses nationwide.

Kurt's proudest accomplishment is being a father to Austin, Aberle, and Morgan and husband to Dona. An avid sports fan, he cherishes the years of chauffeuring all three of his kids up and down the east coast for games. Now he enjoys the shift from coaching to proudly cheering from the stands for his nieces and nephews, and he fondly includes the Morgan's Message Ambassadors in that category. In his spare five minutes, he relaxes by keeping his lawn manicured to the standards of Augusta National Golf Club, then retiring to the patio with Dona and their dogs to recap all blessings in their life they are thankful for.
