Lainey Donalson

Morgan’s Message® Education Program Liaison

Lainey grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School. She started playing lacrosse during her freshman year of high school and went on to play four years of lacrosse at John Carroll University.

At JCU, Lainey majored in Sports Studies with minors in Business and Leadership. She was introduced to Morgan's Message in the summer of 2021 when she suffered a devastating knee injury. Later, Alex Heishman and Lainey co-founded the JCU chapter of Morgan's Message.

Her involvement with Morgan’s Message sparked her desire to continue working as a mental health advocate! Lainey believes that Morgan's Message has not only helped her learn more about prioritizing her own mental health but has also allowed her to help and teach others about mental health.
